Terry commenced with Balmain in 1987 becoming a shareholder and then progressing to director.

Terry along with the existing shareholders have helped shape Balmain over the past 20 years into a very successful financial services business.

Terry manages the Parramatta office with two partners and is supported by a capable and talented team who are dedicated to providing all clients with the latest market information as well as responding quickly to service their needs in this very challenging financial environment.

Terry has a strong commitment in supporting the development of football (soccer) in the Western and South Western Sydney region and has formed many business relationships from his involvement with various sporting and social groups.

Phillip joined Balmain in August 2000. Prior to joining Balmain he worked at ANZ for over 20 years in various roles covering a wide range of banking services including international transactions, property finance and general banking facilities.

In his last role as District Manager at ANZ, Phillip managed a team of relationship lenders in the Western Sydney region servicing business banking clients.

During his time at Balmain he has found Balmain offers its clients a wide range of banking products which are able to meet all their financial requirements.

Phillip prides himself on the fact that he personally maintains direct control over all processes that deliver any and all services.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Economics and Finance, Zac entered the finance industry in 1993. Since then Zac has held client relationship management roles with NAB and then in a senior capacity with Macquarie Bank.

Zac prides himself on imparting innovative solutions to clients built upon experience, knowledge and trust and ensuring his clients are wholly satisfied with the service provided.

It allows me to build a relationship with the same client over a long period”

Since joining Balmain in 2002 Amedeo has been successfully funding developments and commercial properties. He has achieved a reputation in delivering solutions on all types of funding requirements and his key principle is to “under-promise, over-deliver”.

Balmain provides Amedeo with more commercial options, allowing him to provide the best results for his client’s funding needs.

Outside of work, Amedeo enjoys spending time with his two daughters, training at the gym, gardening, and following the equity markets.

Adrian started with Balmain in 2002 working as an analyst in the Parramatta office. In 2007 after 5 years of solid work he was promoted to a partnership role joining forces with Terry Leckie.

Their origination team now consists of four including two analysts responsible for day to day operations of the business.

Adrian has developed a wide knowledge of the residential and commercial lending markets and enjoys very strong relationships with both lenders and clients.

Steve has been actively involved in the property finance industry for 10 years. He spent 5 years within the property and construction finance division of ANZ Bank as a relationship manager where he was responsible for managing existing client relationships and generating new business to the bank. More recently, Steve enjoyed 3 years working with Macquarie Bank as a senior manager and was responsible for managing the banks property investor clients in the Western Sydney region. Steve also gained valuable exposure to business banking clients during this time.

Working with Balmain has provided Steve with the ability “to get deals done”. Working within large organisations has provided Steve with a wealth of experience, however “it is Balmain’s unique and unmatched market radar that ensures I manage my client’s needs and expectations”.

Steve is married with 2 children and is coach of the local soccer team. During his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, basketball and spending time with his family.
