About Balmain Commercial
Balmain is Australia’s leading originator and manager of commercial property loans.
Over the last 30 years Balmain has helped more than 20,000 Australians and their businesses secure finance for their commercial properties with all of Australia’s premier lenders (currently 108 different lenders). Balmain not only deals with the major banks but specialises in non-bank private and institutional lenders. This enables us to provide finance solutions that can be vastly superior to those offered by the major banks alone.
Balmain employs over 120 people in 8 offices throughout the east coast of Australia and New Zealand. Originating over $4 billion in property loans each financial year Balmain specialises not only in senior debt (first mortgages) but also in mezzanine debt (second mortgages) and preferred equity (finding you joint venture partners for larger projects). Naturally we cater for both investment and construction loans.
The Balmain group currently manages over $8 billion of commercial property loans for our lenders. This means that we can continue to look after you, our clients, after the loan has been settled. It also means that Balmain is an important partner to all of our lenders which enables Balmain sufficient leverage to secure optimal funding solutions for you and your property.
